The humble Chinese steamed dumpling (Bao) has established itself as a staple in the Chinese cuisine. Just like the days of old, join Valerie Kong as she shows you how to make the dough from scratch, wrap and pleat them like a pro. All the fillings will also be made from scratch so that nothing will be too sweet or salty.

Menu

1. Chicken Bao

A tender savory meat filling that is so delicious and appetising that you can have the bao for a meal!

2. Vegetarian Bao

A flavorful and juicy filling made with yam bean (mang guang) and other root vegetables, much like a soon kueh filling. Great for a light snack or breakfast. 

3. Red Bean Bao

A red bean filling cooked from scratch using a slow cooker to bring out the most aromatic bean fragrance without it being overly sweet. 

4. Liu Sha Bao

Molten custard filling that flows like lava literally. This is just an irresistible bao that is great as a dessert.

Hands-on with Demonstration by Chef with videos and photos snippets sent via WhatApp. Recipes will be emailed ahead for ZOOM participants. 

Take Home Items

Onsite participants will bring home a set of food samples. ZOOM participants WITH food samples can opt for self-collection or delivery at no extra cost.
