Valerie is a talented self-taught baker who was developed countless recipes over the past 25 years. Her creations are usually inspired by her local and overseas food tasting experiences.
Since 1999, Valerie has been conducting baking classes in Country Clubs like SICC, TMCC, SAFRA clubs, Civil Service Clubs. From 2002-2005, she has also taught 'The Art of Asian Cuisine,' an annual cooking project at the Singapore American School.
She is well-known for her precise instructions and recipes which includes western desserts like cheesecakes, layered sponge cakes, checkered cakes, cookies, as well as traditional bakes like nyonya kuehs, lapis cakes, chiffon cakes and soft Asian buns.
