1. Pandan Chiffon Layer Cake
Light, super-soft and fluffy pandan chiffon cake layers sandwiched and topped with a rich, lightly fudgy kaya-like frosting. Made only with natural ingredients, Christopher’s flavourful version of this retro classic is all about balance – if you find commercial ones too sweet, too cloying or over-laden with bland frosting, then this is the recipe for you. No special pans or equipment are needed.
2. Vanilla & Peanut Layer Cake
Once a familiar sight at our traditional bakeries, this favourite local cake is distinguished by the fragrance of freshly roasted peanuts, sprinkled over two layers of tender and springy vanilla chiffon cake spread with a light buttercream infused with peanut butter, vanilla and a hint of coffee. A nostalgic and timeless treat.
3. Jackfruit Butter Cake
A tender, rich butter cake laden with fresh jackfruit puree and diced fresh jackfruit, enhanced with hints of vanilla and sweet spices. Fragrant, melt-in-the-mouth and moist, this is perfect for teatime.
