1. Bebek Goreng (Fried Duck with Green Chilli Sambal)

This extremely popular marinated and deep-fried crispy duck pieces is served with a special Green Chilli Sambal (Sambal Ijo)

2. North Sulawesi Ayam Rica Rica (Spicy Chicken)

If you love spicy Indonesian dishes, this slow braised, bold, spicy, fresh and citrusy chicken will satisfy your taste buds!

3. Tempe Tauhu Bacem 

Simply put together with few ingredients, but is power-packed with flavour and nutrients from the firm tofu and tempe which are first braised to soak in the marinade and then pan-fried or grilled.

4. South Sulawesi Urap 

It is a huge salad of cooked or blanched vegetables like tapioca leaves, lemon basil leaves, cabbage, long beans, and beansprouts. The most important part of this recipe is the spicy, grated coconut dressing!

5. Jamu Kunyit Assam 

Jamu is traditional Indonesian medicine usually made from natural ingredients including roots, bark, flowers, seeds, leaves and fruits. Learn how to make the most popular jamu drink in Indonesia to boost your immunity and help ward off cold and flu.

Take Home Items

Participants will take home a recipe pack and a takeaway portion sample all the food items. ZOOM participants can collect items after class or arrange for delivery at a small charge.
