Chef Valerie Kong founded Urban Loaf Factory in 2018 to serve the community with her very unique version of sourdough bread that has a characteristic thin, crispy crust and a soft crumb.
Other than sourdough loaves, there was also her unforgettable sourdough crusted pizza. In this fourth class, we will be focusing on making sourdough pizza crust with mouth-watering toppings.
*Please note that we will not be learning about starter maintenance in this class. Do refer to Sourdough Essentials 1 if you are keen to learn the basics of sourdough baking.
1. Pesto Funghi Pizza
- Pesto base with a blend of cheeses, topped with portobello and white button mushrooms and pistachios sprinkle.
2. Neapolitan Pizza
-Tomato base with a blend of cheeses, topped with cherry tomatoes and Mozarella pearls.
3. Hawaiian Pizza
Tomato base with blend of cheeses, topped with pineapple and ham.
Hands-on for all items. Videos and photos snippets will be sent via WhatApp. Recipes will be emailed ahead for ZOOM participants.
Take Home Items
Onsite participants will bring home a set of bread samples. ZOOM participants WITH bread samples can opt for self-collection or delivery at no extra cost.
