Welcome to pork heaven! Pork is widely used in many cuisines and owing to its serious versatility, pork can take on many textures and taste profiles. In this class, Chef Shih Erh will be sharing how to cook some familiar pork recipes in tried and tested ways that will ensure a delicious dish on your dining table each time without fail. Utilising various cut, the pork meat will be beautifully enhanced by accompanying spices, ingredients pairing and different methods of cooking. 


1. Salt and Pepper Ribs (椒盐排骨)

Salt Pepper Spare Ribs is a Chinese dish of deep fried pork spare ribs seasoned with chilli peppers, salt and five spice powder. It is a main stay on usual Chinese restaurants. Crisp, tender, and tasty, you won't be able to resist bite after bite of the mouthwatering ribs.

2. Steamed Hand-minced Pork Patty with Salted Fish (咸鱼肉饼)

This is one humble traditional home-cooked dish that brings back nostalgic memories. It is also one of the most well-loved of Cantonese dishes. Learn the original way of creating this tender and flavourful homely dish.

3. Pork Adobo

Many Filipinos consider adobo, the national dish of the Philippines. It is made with succulent pork belly braised in vinegar, soy sauce, garlic, onions and fragrant black peppercorn. A delicious balance of savoury and hearty stew.
