Flatbreads are made all over the world. They are great served soft, filled with vegetables, meats or baked until crisp and served with dips, soups or stews.
In this class, Chef Audrey will be teaching 4 types of flatbreads that are easy and versatile.
1. Pita Pocket with Grilled Chicken and Caesar Salad
Learn how to make beautiful hollow pita pockets stuffed with healthy grilled chicken and caesar salad.
2. Garlic Naan with Butter Chicken
The naan is a leavened oven baked flatbread. Using the same dough as the pita, we will be making garlic naan that will pair perfectly well with a flavorful homemade butter chicken.
3. Pumpkin Wrap with Crab and Grilled Vegetables
Jazz up the common wrap with a pumpkin flavored dough that adds extra sweetness to a scrumptious crab meat with grilled vegetables filling.
The chapati is a unleavened flatbread that is staple to the Indians. Using atta flour (wholewheat flour), this is a healthier version of the wrap.
