Searching for something different this year-end? Look no further than Christopher’s new recipes, dreamed up for the coming festive season, which can all be prepared in a tart or quiche tin or pie plate, for ease of serving and holiday gift-giving.


1. Chocolate Cherry Hazelnut Tart

Crisp butter pastry, juicy black cherries, a rich hazelnut frangipane filling flecked with dark chocolate, and velvety whipped mascarpone cream come together to make a sophisticated, not-too-sweet tart with layers of contrasting tastes and textures.

2. Black Sesame Boterkoek

Though the name of this classic Dutch favourite translates literally as ‘buttercake’, it is really a deliciously buttery giant cookie with a golden top, a soft and almost fudgy heart and crisp, crumbly edges. Christopher’s rendition layers vanilla and black sesame doughs for a supremely addictive treat.

3. Apple Rye Crumb Cake

A German-style bake with fresh apple slices resting on a bottom layer of tender cake flavoured with brown sugar and dark rye flour, topped with a scattering of salty-sweet crumble. A hint of five-spice powder adds an intriguing Asian touch.

Take Home Items

Onsite participants will bring home a set of food samples. ZOOM participants WITH food samples can opt for self-collection or delivery at no extra cost.
