1. Cha Ca Hanoi (Grill Turmeric Fish with Fresh Noodle)
Chunks of grilled fish that is seasoned with a special turmeric marinade unique to this dish. The flavors of this dish depends very much on the ratio of ingredients in the marinade. Then tossed in sautéed scallion and dill, this dish is served with vermicelli noodles, roasted peanuts and dipping sauce.
2. Chao Tom (Sugar Cane Skewer Prawn, steamed and fried)
This aromatic and succulent appetizer is made with a paste that is characterised by its springy texture and mild seafood flavor which is wrapped around a sweet sugar cane stick before being steamed and fried to golden perfection. Super addictive!
3. Bo La Lot (Minced Beef Wrapped in Piper Leaves)
Marinated minced beef roll with piper la lot leaves and grilled to a lightly charred flavor. These unique piper leaves has an amazing incense-like fragrance when heat is applied to them. A common snack that goes so well with noodles, rice, salads or even a glass of beer!
4. Goi Bap Chuoi (Banana Blossom Salad)
A very refreshing salad packed with flavors from an array of fresh herbs.
