Get ready for some Christmas baking with Baker Audrey Tan, owner of Freshly Baked. In this menu, you will be learning 2 items that you can pack as homemade festive gifts to your favourite people this Christmas.

1. Panettone

Touted as the "Mount Everest of Baking", this wildly sensitive and challenging dough requires long stages of fermentation. Unlike the commercially made ones that tend to be dry, Audrey's version is made with a starter dough that ensures a moist yet lighter-than-cake texture, that can literally be pulled into strands. Embedded with a chockfull of cranberries, raisins, pistachios and chocolate bits, this sweet bread also has a subtle tang from the orange liquor that makes it so lovely. We had raving reviews of this Panettone when we conducted this class the first time. 

 2. Candied Ginger Biscotti

Having ginger in biscotti must be one of the best ideas ever. The ginger bits add so much character to this crunchy biscuit. Definitely an easy gifting item for Christmas.
