Banchan is a collective name for small side dishes served along with cooked rice in Korean Cuisine. Not exactly appetisers, these little dishes complement a meal with its varied textures and flavors. Drawing from her Chinese-Korean heritage, Vivian will present a set of 5 Banchan to add on to the Korean cuisine repertoire. 

Menu

1. Braised lotus roots (Yeon-geun-jorim)  

2. Eggplant (Gaji-namul)

3. Seasoned Dried Shredded Squid (Ojingeochae Muchim)

4. Pan fried tofu with spicy sauce (Dububuchim-yangnyeomjang)

5. Mung Bean Jelly (Cheongpomuk-muchim) 

6. Korean Rolled Omelette with Dried Seaweed (Gyeran Mari with Gim)
