Pasta is for everyone. It can be simple and complex, but it is almost always comforting and hearty. In this new menu, Chef Michele will be re-visiting some basic skills of pasta making and giving classic pasta dishes a lease of new life with some interesting ingredient pairings.
1. Anchovy Pesto Orecchiette
Whip up a simple but nutritious pasta dish for an anytime meal with the fresh nutritious ingredients. Savory home-made pesto made from scratch to go with cute little orecchiettes to catch the pesto sauce with each bite.
2. Duck and Red Wine Ragu
A rich and hearty slow-cooked ragu that makes a fabulous party main course. With all the delicious-ness locked into this robust sauce, your guests can help themsleves with multiple servings! Paired with hand-made pasta.
3. Mushroom Lasagne
Why settle for the a normal lasagne made with meat sauce when you can make it equally good and heavenly with truffled mixed mushrooms? Made with hand-made lasagne sheets, this baked dish is totally mouth-watering and memorable.
4. Orzo salad
An refreshing orzo pasta salad made with a concoction of herbs, vegetables, cheese and a refreshing dressing. A great breakfast or light and lazy meal.
