Can you make luncheon meat at home that’s incomparably better – less salty, less greasy, more meaty, more flavourful – than store-bought? Absolutely! Learn how to whip up your own luncheon meat and also let it shine in a couple of baked goods, with Christopher’s straightforward recipes.

Menu

1. Home-made Luncheon Meat

Juicy and delicious, made with fresh pork, ham, a unique seasoning blend and zero artificial additives.

2. Luncheon Meat & Spinach Buns

Luncheon meat batons wrapped in soft and tender plaited bun dough made with spinach juice for extra colour and flavour, and a surprise seasoning of spring onion and ginger sauce. Perfect for brunches and picnics.

3. Okinawa-style Luncheon Meat, Bittergourd and Cheese Quiche

Inspired by the classic Okinawan burger featuring Spam, cheese and a wedge of bittergourd omelette, this yummy quiche nestles luncheon meat, shaved bittergourd, sauteed onions, cheddar cheese and a savoury custard in a crisp shortcrust pastry shell.

Take Home Items

There will be no food tasting in the studio. Food samples will be packed. ZOOM participants can opt for self-collection or delivery at no extra cost.
