As made famous by local Hainanese bakeries, beloved old-school buns hiding sweet and savoury fillings are a treasured part of Singaporean food heritage, enjoyed by everyone. With Christopher’s recipes, you can make them at home any time you have a craving!


1. Foundation Classic Bun Dough
A plain dough which is easy to make and bakes up plush and tender, but still has a good bouncy bite, without being soft or sticky.

2. Otak-Otak Buns
Under these buns’ golden domes are yummy slabs of otak-otak made from scratch with fresh fish and a spicy Peranakan-style rempah.

3. Coconut Gula Melaka Buns
Fresh pandan juice flavours and tints this bun dough variation, which is wrapped around grated coconut candied with coconut palm sugar.

4. Chocolate Custard Cornet Buns
Spiralled like seashells, these are piped full of smooth and velvety chocolate custard to serve.

Take Home Items

Onsite participants will bring home a set of food samples. ZOOM participants WITH food samples can opt for self-collection or delivery at no extra cost.
