Christopher’s series of reliable recipes for modern and classic baked goods continues with a duo of desserts showcasing the bright, tangy flavours of fresh fruit.

1.  Orange Sugee Cake

If you love citrus fruit and high tea equally, this is the sugee cake for you! Made with whole oranges, almonds and a dash of orange blossom water, its ultra-moist, buttery and dense crumb is jam-packed with flavour (and fibre), plus a bittersweet fragrance just like the best English marmalade.

2. Pistachio & Cherry Bakewell Slice

An English original with a Persian spin. Crisp pistachio pastry is topped with soft pistachio butter cake, studded with succulent sour cherries whose tartness contrasts brightly with the rich nuts. A symphony of tastes and textures.

Online demonstration via ZOOM by Chef, facilitated by TKS. Class size of up to 20 participants. Overseas participants are welcome too. 
 
Take Home Items

Participants will be given a recipe pack ahead of class via email/post and a sampling size of all the demonstrated food to be collected on site after the class.
